Quantum Aviation and Turkish Airlines are working together to roll out Quantum’s baggage service (Quantum BRS) to their U.S. stations at Miami, Houston and Boston International airports, continuing their current service to Dulles International servicing Washington, D.C. Quantum Aviation Solutions invested in the hardware, installation and training services, and manages all secure internet connectivity, to provide Turkish Airlines with the baggage management capability and visibility necessary to track each bag across its entire journey. In addition to elevating baggage handling at key U.S. hubs, this extension of Quantum Aviation Solutions’ services also improves security over the baggage handling process. As a Star Alliance member, Turkish Airlines is committed to continually raising its standards of efficiency, security and customer service. The close partnership with Quantum Aviation Solutions will ensure Turkish Airlines stays on the cutting edge of international baggage management.

Quantum Aviation Solutions’ system recently went live in Boston and Miami, with plans for the Houston airport to go live with full baggage handling services in December. These installations use web browser applications and touch screen, 4G LTE handheld devices delivered as SaaS from an established, secure data center.

IATA 753 is changing the baggage handling landscape, and Quantum’s private cloud solutions model enables them to work swiftly with their customers to be compliant with the resolution while providing total operational flexibility. Quantum Aviation Solutions and Turkish Airlines have had a long-standing relationship that will continue as both organizations grow.
